Description

VIC legislation.

The main objectives of these Regulations are:

(a) to specify work that is plumbing work to which Part 12A of the Building Act 1993 applies, and to specify classes of plumbing work and classes of specialised plumbing work for the purposes of that Part; and
(b) to specify the qualifications and experience required for a person to be able to be licensed or registered to carry out plumbing work; and
(c) to incorporate the Plumbing Code of Australia and to prescribe standards and other requirements that a licensed or registered plumber must comply with when carrying out plumbing work; and
(d) to specify fees for the purposes of Part 12A of the Building Act 1993; and
(e) to provide for other matters for the purposes of Part 12A of the Building Act 1993.
